Auracle's Interface

Auracle's interface works different from what you're likely used to. It may need a little practice, but you'll soon appreciate the convenience and clarity. Auracle's operation is smooth and fast, logical and intuitive.

1. Auracle has no menus to sort through and everything you can do at any point in your session is always accessible with a click of a button, right on the surface where you need it. And if you don't need it, it isn't there.

2. Auracle always goes forward. Don't use the browser's Back button. The interface shows the next possible step(s). When you activate a feature with a button, you can usually also turn it off again with the same button or return to the initiating panel through the tabs.

3. You rarely have to place a cursor yourself. Whenever it can, Auracle places it for you.

Panels

You interact with Auracle through a series of panels, each dedicated to a specific task, but connected with each other. The major panels present designs and a few supporting panels allow entry, retrieval and combination of designs. Auracle makes it easy to switch between panels, compare and do your research.

Panel elements

All panels are organized in the same way, in three principal sections.

Options

On the left side of each panel are the options. Most of them are available on all panels, some change depending on the panel you're on.

You can operate most of these buttons also with keyboard shortcuts.

Session and tabs

The session keeps track of all the designs you've accessed on the major panels and automatically presents them to you as buttons on tabs, so that you can easily switch between them.

You can have as many tabs as you want, although you can see only five at once without scrolling. In practice, that's often more than sufficient. Each tab can have up to four buttons, with which you seemlessly access previously viewed designs.

Reset Session

You initiate a new session upon sign-in and by clicking the reset button anywhere in the application, which clears the session cache and presents you with a fresh Start panel.

Panel options and Design

You'll learn about the panel options and the design sections of the major panels in their respective descriptions.
